KING STUDIO TOUR - April 27th & 28th - Nobleton Community Hall

Trudy Maresch will be participating in the King Studio Tour at the Nobleton Community Hall (19 Old King Road). Nobleton is just 8 minutes west of King City. Look for her fabulous beaded and wired creations and new designs made just for this tour.
February Monthly meeting - cancelled
Bath weather has struck Richmond Hill again! Our Tuesday night meet-up is once again cancelled due to the ice and snow storm. Our members are reminded to check our website if ever they need to know when and if a meeting is happening. We look forward to seeing everyone in March.
Richmond Hill Member attend High Tea Social
February 2nd our group went to the St. Matthews high tea social! Was a wonderful event. We love this one and hope to continue with it next year!
January Monthly meeting - cancelled

Secret Santa, Potluck Christmas party is now in planning for December 11, 2018. Contact Erin to arrange which you will bring. Please remember your secret santa gift of earrings or pendant. Looking very forward to this wonderful event!
Summer Garden Party Blooming Late (September 17th to be exact!)
By now all members should have received their email about the upcoming party in September on the 17th being hosted by Carole. Can't wait for this wonderful event. Let's hope the weather cooperates!
Taste's Of the Hill - Saturday, September 22 to Sunday, September 23, 2018
Rubina Panjwani and Trudy Maresch will be demonstrating their beaded art (along with out artists from the Studio Tour 2018) at Richmond Hill's Tastes of the Hill starting Saturday Night - 6pm to 9pm and Sunday, 12pm to 6pm. ADMISSION IS FREE! Tastes of the Hill at Richmond Green, is a Multicultural Festival that celebrates Richmond Hill's diverse multicultural community. The festival opens Saturday evening with the fun continuing on Sunday. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind cultural celebration!
Culture Days - Richmond Hill Library: Art Conversations (Richmond Hill Studio Tour)
The Richmond Hill Public Library is hosting various Studio Tour demonstrations on Friday September 28th to Sunday September 30th. Various Studio Tour artists will be on hand in the lobby to answer any questions you may have about their art, technique, and about the Studio Tour in general. Richmond Hill Creative Eye Love & Peace Awards for IWS Canada
The Richmond Hill Creative Eye have made four beautiful Love and Peace themed pendants as awards for four lucky artists in the IWS ‘A Symphony in Watercolour’ Exhibition (September 28-October 27, 2018). Visit the IWS Canada website for more information on the awards and the 5 day festival of events. The awards will be announced at our opening event on September 28th at Boynton House on Richmond Green at 3pm.

Creative "Night Out" Meet-Up
New Members Welcome in Richmond Hill!
Join us for a fun and relaxing evening of engaging conversation and other light-hearted activities promoting friendship, team building and to inspire your creative energies. Our aim is to promote growth in beading and jewellery making skills, friendships, and a sense of community.
Show off your works of art. Or, bring in something you are working on including an unfinished workshop project. Have a question? We would love to help. It’s amazing what a little encouragement can do to boost confidence and creativity.
There is no "drop-in" charge to attend a monthly meet-up. You can, however, purchase a membership and use your card to received fabulous discounts from various beading stores throughout the GTA, download workshops, beading tips, store locations, and more. We thank Merry Maids of Richmond Hill for their continued support of our group.
